When I hugged Pat late in his battle with Cancer, I accidentally put pressure on the stint in his chest. The moment was horrible; the hug is memorable! It was the last one I had!

The difference between before and after children is amazing - they complete you more than you sometimes realise.

For all the differences we supposedly have ...... all of us are mostly the same. A poem of social inclusion. 

Sometimes life can deal you a shitty hand. Losing friends, family or illness. Life will get better, down the track but make sure you take the luggage with you!

I wrote this for my family, in particular my kids who totally complete me.

......and then Tony waved his magic wand and turned a Prince into a Knight!! Surely a demotion.

My brother Neil, also known as Skin died suddenly. Twenty three days from diagnosis to death. His memory is my shade.
