Abbott Magic!!

Well Tony Abbott you are a ripper though a bit misunderstood

You’ve proved it with Prince Philip you can use your powers for good

To think a mere Australian PM could stand up to England’s might?

He waved his magic Tony wand and turned the Prince into a knight

Now we know Australia needs a boost and Tone says shoulder to the wheel

No matter how upset our most prominent and worthy feel

I’ve a fair idea there is more to come and before the year has gone

The Queen will be demoted too and maybe working for Avon

And though Tony is a Catholic I believe the Pope can expect no joy

His options do not seem too flash with his best result an Altar Boy

No CEO, no millionaire, no leader nor head of state

Will feel very safe at all as Tony’s magic has sealed their fate

All will have their come uppance, be brought down a peg or two

And say goodbye to what they’ve been, kiss their current life adieu

Then Tony will be there, all alone with position, money and power

Sitting on a golden throne in a self constructed Ivory tower

Gina will be a chamber maid, Bill Gates but a humble waiter

Twiggy Forrest will still be mining only driving an excavator

Warren Buffet of course a Maitre De and all Oil Shieks pumping gas

The sum result of Tony’s master plan of supremacy come to pass

And then perhaps his greatest spell, arguably his single greatest deed

To grant himself grace, humility and compassion with all due speed

Turn back the clock, don speedos and a clubbie’s cap, you beauty –

And station himself at a remote beach forevermore on duty

Then I am sure the world will rise as one at last appreciate our Tone

Marvel at his magic, and praise all the good work that he’s done

Forgive him for his arrogance, his ignorance and bad habits

He’ll be known as Tone Alone – and life a beach for Tony Abbott !
