Don't Miss Much

You know there are things I don’t miss much, fancy food and cars and such
Nor crowded bars it’s fair to say
To me they’ve really had their day,
The things I miss in this isolation,
Are company and good friend’s conversation
And a relaxing walk along the beach, which for the moment’s out of reach
Of course it’s my family that I miss most
I’m stuck here and they’re at the coast
I long for my grandchildren’s sloppy kiss
And not too much more .... THAT I really miss!!!
When this is over what I hold dear Will be as before but more crystal clear
Just family, friends and not too much more
But appreciated even more than ever before!
